Upcoming Events/Deadlines

NO LONGER HOLDING ON-SITE COMMUNITY READING CLINIC (CRC) SESSIONS

Because the San Diego State University Reading/Literacy graduate programs are no longer holding in-person reading clinic classes at SDSU, the SDSU Literacy Center is no longer holding on-site Community Reading Clinic (CRC) sessions. We are, therefore, no longer accepting students applications and are unable to respond to email inquiries we receive about CRC sessions.

We will be offering occasional on-site sessions of WRITE TO RISE. Please check this website on a semester basis to find out about future offerings. We appreciate your understanding.

BECOME A TK-12 SCHOOL PARTNER

The SDSU Literacy Center is happy to contract with schools to offer summer or after-school programming for small or large groups of students. If your school would like to host our LITERACY ON THE RISE program, which includes research-based reading and/or writing support tailored to your TK-12 students, or our WRITE TO RISE book-making program, please contact the SDSU Literacy Center Director, Dr. Sciurba, directly ([email protected]).

STAY TUNED!

We are currently seeking funding to expand our literacy program offerings, which we will continue to make available to students in local TK-12 schools. Please stay tuned to learn more about our work. We appreciate your support.
